Christmas Candy Train

Want to do a fun and tasty activity with your children or grandchildren? This Christmas Candy Train is the bomb! I have made this train with my grandchildren for the last 4 years, this last time over Zoom. It makes a great decoration and is a great outlet for creativity. Let Santa ride the Christmas Candy Train through a forest with all sorts of fun and interesting creatures.
Ingredient list:
Royal icing
Sugar crystals
Red licorice sticks (about 6)
2 Three Musketeers bars (full-sized bars)
1 candy orange slice
1 wrapped Reeses miniature cup

Several green wrapped Hershey’s kisses for trees
Train driver (Santa, snowman for example)

Wheels – peppermint candies, unwrapped
Any extra candies to decorate wheels or in the snow (Your imagination is the limit!)

Please watch this video to see how it is assembled. My grandson and granddaughter and a friend of theirs did a great job of explaining the process. Have fun!
